On behalf of his clients he has helped stand up new federal programs, establish new internal functions (e.g., compliance, business development), establish program management disciplines, and implement process improvements in most areas of the enterprise. His expertise lies in program management, change management, security analysis, HIPAA and regulatory compliance, and business process re-engineering.
Doug formed a go-to-market partnership between Acquis and SSI Strategy (SSI) in mid-2011. The goal of the partnership was to align the exceptional delivery and program management skills of Acquis and the deep scientific and pharmacovigilance (PV) skills of SSI to offer clients a blended team. In partnership with SSI leadership, the team has effectively engaged a broad array of Life Sciences clients. Together, these organizations proved that there is an unmet need for program management in Medical Affairs, PV, and Regulatory disciplines.
Due to the successful integration in our field work, SSI Strategy became an affiliate organization of Acquis in mid-2012. In his dual role as Partner of Acquis and President of SSI Strategy, Doug is responsible for all SSI lines of business including the Client Service Teams and the Solutions practice. Doug maintains an active partnership with SSI’s current clients and is also responsible for the design and deployment of Prescience—SSI’s web-based tool to support the Medical Affairs organization.
Doug employs creative ingenuity through his project based, individually tailored responses to each of his clients. He is currently helping client organizations build new internal competencies, launch new services, or establish new business models within their enterprise. He serves as a Board Member of SSI Strategy, Dubset Media Holdings, and maintains several client advisory roles.
